JCIN-NSUK Partners ReSkills Malaysia to Expand Digital Skills Training for Youth

The Junior Chamber International Nigeria, Nasarawa State University Keffi Chapter (JCIN-NSUK), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ReSkills, a Malaysia-based global learning and skills development platform, to expand access to digital and professional skills training for young people.

The Junior Chamber International Nigeria, Nasarawa State University Keffi Chapter (JCIN-NSUK), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ReSkills, a Malaysia-based global learning and skills development platform, to expand access to digital and professional skills training for young people.

The agreement was formalised during a virtual signing ceremony attended by officials of the Junior Chamber International (JCI), representatives of ReSkills and members of various JCI local organisations.

Among those in attendance were JCI Ambassador Olutunbi Banto (NVP NE D1), JCI Ambassador Tajudeen Taiwo MEt (Director of Human Duties, JCI Nigeria), JCI Senator George Onuma, JCI Ambassador Ahmad Fawaz (President, JCI Kano City), Collegiate Vice Chairperson North East JCI Councillor Khadija Ahmed Danyaro, CD Lee, Ms. Yen Lee, Chief Administrative Officer of ReSkills, and members of several JCI local chapters.

Under the partnership, participants will gain access to:

  • More than 1,000 skill-based learning opportunities.
  • Daily live classes.
  • Flexible learning schedules.
  • Internationally recognised United Kingdom and United States certificates for active participants.

Speaking during the event, JCI Senator George Onuma commended the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, for her continued support for JCIN-NSUK. He also encouraged the expansion of the initiative to enable more young Nigerians to benefit from the programme.

On behalf of JCIN-NSUK, the chapter's leadership expressed appreciation to ReSkills for the collaboration and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting youth empowerment, leadership development and lifelong learning.

The partnership is expected to enhance the digital and professional competencies of young people, equipping them with skills needed for personal development, career advancement and competitiveness in the global workforce.
