Jigawa State College of Education, Gumel, is seeking qualified candidates to fill two key positions within the institution: Bursar and Librarian. The College invites applications from experienced and capable individuals who meet the specified requirements for these roles.
Bursar:
- Qualifications: A first degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 18 years of relevant experience, preferably within a higher education institution.
- Professional Certification: Recognized accountancy qualifications such as ANAN, ACA, CIMA, CPA, ACCA, or ICAN.
- Current Rank: Not below the rank of Deputy Bursar on CONTIDESS 14 or its equivalent.
- Age Limit: 55 years.
- Skills: Computer literacy and knowledge of contemporary financial management principles.
Librarian:
- Qualifications: A Master’s Degree in Library Science (MLS) with 12 years of experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science (BLS) with 15 years of experience.
- Age Limit: 60 years.
- Experience: Demonstrated scholarly publications, conference attendance, and membership in professional associations.
- Skills: Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant applications.
- Additional Requirements: Registration with TRCN and evidence of academic/administrative leadership.
