Jigawa State Government Approves Payment and Verification of Indigenous Students Scholarships

The Office of the Special Scholarships Adviser (SSA) to the Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Mallam Umar Namadi FCA, has announced the approval of payment and verification of scholarships for indigenous students of the state in all levels of tertiary education.

According to a statement signed by Hon. Comr Yahya Sani Garungabas, the SSA, the move is part of the governor's mission to promote students' welfare and provide standard education to indigenous students of the state.

The statement directs indigene students to submit their applications through the scholarship portal and await verification by the committee in their respective schools.

The National Financial Secretary of NAJISS, Amb Umar Abbah Gwaram, has also been notified of the development.
