Jigawa State Governor's Wife Urges Corporate Bodies to Collaborate with NYSC to Combat Youth Unemployment

The call was made during the Exhibition and Closing Ceremony of the 2024 Batch 'B' Stream I Orientation Course Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development program.

Hajiya Namadi praised the NYSC for its initiative, which provides young graduates with opportunities for self-reliance and entrepreneurship. She emphasized that since her husband, Governor Namadi, took office, youth empowerment and poverty reduction have been top priorities. The Governor's wife encouraged corps members to apply the skills they acquired during the orientation course to their future communities, contributing to local development.

She expressed her readiness to collaborate with NYSC on projects that promote socio-economic growth and thanked the NYSC Management for their continued efforts. The event also featured the presentation of prizes to winners of the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) competition, which was sponsored by Hajiya Namadi.
