Kaduna State College of Education (KSCOE) Gidan Waya has been nominated by the Presidency for a special student intervention program aimed at supporting academic pursuits and enhancing educational experiences.

In a memo issued by the Office of the Registrar, Academic Secretary Sani Sunday announced the nomination by the Executive Director of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND). The initiative seeks to provide financial support to students through the provision of both institutional charges and upkeep loans.

To participate in the program, eligible students are instructed to visit the NELFUND website at nelfund.gov.ng. They are required to register on the Student Loan Application Platform, complete the necessary steps for loan application, and submit the application online. Verification of applications will lead to payments being made directly to the institution for institutional charges, with upkeep loans deposited into the students' designated bank accounts.

Students are also requested to submit hard copies of their applications to Mr. Samaila Thomas at the Bursary Department for further processing.
