Kaduna State University, in collaboration with the Open Arts Foundation, hosted the "Shata Commemorative Day Celebration" to mark the 25th anniversary of Alhaji Mamman Shata's passing.

Dignitaries, including the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Helen Afang Andow, Registrar, Hajiya Samira Balarabe, and Dean, Faculty of Arts, Prof. Audee T. Giwa, graced the occasion, delivering keynote addresses and expressing gratitude on behalf of the university community.
