Kaduna State University Honors Alhaji Mamman Shata Legacy with Commemorative Day Celebration

Kaduna State University, in collaboration with the Open Arts Foundation, hosted the "Shata Commemorative Day Celebration" to mark the 25th anniversary of Alhaji Mamman Shata's passing.

The event paid tribute to the renowned Hausa literature and music icon, celebrating his profound impact on Nigerian arts and culture.

Dignitaries, including the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Helen Afang Andow, Registrar, Hajiya Samira Balarabe, and Dean, Faculty of Arts, Prof. Audee T. Giwa, graced the occasion, delivering keynote addresses and expressing gratitude on behalf of the university community.
