Kaduna State University to Host 2025 ECLS Conference on Cancer Research
Participants, including undergraduates, postgraduates, and postdoctoral researchers, will have the opportunity to attend workshops on grant writing, bioinformatics, and data analysis in cancer research
Kaduna State University (KASU) will host the 2025 Early Career Life Scientists’ (ECLS) Conference on May 6th and 7th, focusing on “Translational Cancer Research: Bridging the Gap from Bench to Bedside.” The announcement followed a meeting on December 3, 2024, between the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Kenneth Bitrus David, and university officials, including Vice Chancellor Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, Director of Research and Development Prof. Ben A. Chindo, and department heads from Pharmacology, Biochemistry, and Physiology.
The conference, supported by the British Pharmacological Society, the Biochemical Society, and the British Physiological Society, aims to equip early career researchers with the tools to translate laboratory research into clinical applications, advancing cancer care. Participants, including undergraduates, postgraduates, and postdoctoral researchers, will have the opportunity to attend workshops on grant writing, bioinformatics, and data analysis in cancer research.
