Kano Indigenous Students Scholarship to Commence August

The National Association of Kano State Students, Bayero University Kano Chapter (NAKSS-BUK), has announced that the Kano Indigenous Students Scholarship will commence in August month.

According to Comrade Abouzied Salisu Hikima, President of NAKSS-BUK, the scholarship was secured after a meeting with the Executive Secretary of the Kano State Scholarship Board, Hon. Kabiru Haruna Getso. Although the Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf will not cover registration fees this time, the scholarship amount has been doubled to N40,000+.

The Executive Secretary confirmed that the scholarship will be released within a month, and application scratch cards will be available for purchase shortly. Disbursement of the scholarship funds will follow shortly after registration.
