KASU to Partner KADEDA on Harnessing Entrepreneurial Skills

The Kaduna State Enterprise Development Agency (KADEDA) visited the office of the Vice-Chancellor of Kaduna State University on Tuesday, 23rd April 2024.

During the visit, the Managing Director of KADEDA, Dauda Iliya Abba, expressed the Agency's readiness to collaborate with KASU to offer business solutions to students. They introduced a program called STUDENTPRENUERSHIP, aimed at providing entrepreneurial students with ideas for developing viable ventures, promoting financial independence, and encouraging societal contributions. Dauda also proposed a partnership for training and certifying students in business programs at KASU.

The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa welcomed this partnership, seeing it as timely for the university's strategic plan. He stressed the importance of nurturing entrepreneurial minds and shared KASU's entrepreneurship plan, Horizon KASU, designed to elevate dreams and create a transformative educational journey.

The meeting yielded significant results as both parties aimed for a stronger relationship.
