Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University Holds Meeting with Parents, Discuss Students Development

The management of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University (KHAIRUN), led by Vice-Chancellor Professor Abdulrashid Garba, held a meeting with parents of students on February 27, 2025, to discuss their children's academic and moral development.

During the meeting, parents expressed their appreciation for the university's efforts in shaping their children's academic and moral characters. They also raised concerns about the scholarship program, noting that their children had not been able to secure the opportunity.

In response, Professor Garba thanked the parents for their trust and support, reaffirming the university's commitment to enhancing academic excellence and character-building initiatives. He clarified that the scholarship program is handled by an independent foundation and assured parents that their children would be considered in the next enrollment.

The meeting concluded with the formation of a Management-Parents' Consultative Forum, comprising representatives from both parents and management. This forum aims to foster closer collaboration and communication between the university and parents.

KHAIRUN reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality education while ensuring that deserving students receive necessary support. The university's efforts to engage with parents demonstrate its dedication to fostering a collaborative and supportive community.
