Kwararafa University Welcomes Students for Second Semester; Set for NUC Resource Verification and 2026 Convocation
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Shishi Zhema, warmly welcomes all students back to Kwararafa University, Wukari, for the Second Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
Students are reminded that the second semester resumed on Tuesday, 7th April 2026. Accordingly, all students are encouraged to intensify efforts towards course registration and payment of tuition fees in order to avoid any late registration charges as a penalty.
The Vice-Chancellor also wishes to inform the University community that the institution will soon receive teams from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for resource verification exercises, covering several undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Students are therefore urged to remain focused and committed to their academic pursuits.
Furthermore, students are advised to maintain discipline, demonstrate positive academic attitudes and avoid all forms of social vices that may distract them from achieving their educational goals.
The University Management remains committed to providing a conducive, serene and supportive learning environment that enhances both academic excellence and personal development.
The Vice-Chancellor expresses sincere appreciation to parents and guardians for entrusting their wards to Kwararafa University, Wukari, and assures them of the University's continued dedication to delivering quality education and character development. Adding that, the University will be hosting Convocation Ceremony at the end of this year.
