Lagos Government Rewards Top Six WASSCE Students with Cash Gifts

Six students from Lagos State public schools who achieved outstanding results in the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) were rewarded by the Lagos State government. The overall best performer received a cash gift of N1 million, while the remaining five students received N200,000 each.

Master Daniel Akinkunowo, the overall best performer, expressed gratitude for the honor and emphasized the importance of quality education in societal development. He commended both efforts as commendable and encouraging. Daniel's academic achievements, including his performance in the WASSCE and JAMB's UTME, were highlighted, showcasing his dedication to excellence in education.
