Bayero University Kano (BUK) to Graduate 180 First-Class Students at 38th Convocation

The Vice Chancellor of Bayero University Kano (BUK), Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, has announced that 180 students will graduate with first-class degrees during the institution's upcoming 38th convocation ceremony.

During a pre-convocation press briefing held in Kano, Prof. Abbas revealed that a total of 317 and 3,770 graduates will receive doctorate and master’s degrees respectively.

Prof. Abbas further stated that BUK will confer honorary doctorate awards upon the Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, and the President of the African Development Bank, Dr Akinwumi Adeshina.

“This year, we have a total of 11,284 students that are going to graduate and be given their degrees,” Prof. Abbas added.
