Lagos State Hosts 11th Africa University Games from September

Lagos State is set to host the 11th Africa University Games from September 20 to 29, with events taking place at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and Lagos State University (LASU).

Participating universities from across Africa gathered for the opening ceremony, including Nkumba University (Uganda), Midland University (Zimbabwe), University of Zambia, University of Mauritius, and University of Ghana. Notable Nigerian institutions such as Lagos State University, University of Ilorin, University of Benin, and Obafemi Awolowo University also took part in the event.
