LASU Announces Indigeneship Verification Exercise for 2025/2026 Academic Session

Lagos State University has commenced its Indigeneship Verification Exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The exercise is open to candidates of Lagos State origin who selected LASU as their first choice in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations and scored a minimum of 195.

To apply, candidates should visit the LASU Indigeneship Portal and make payment online into the official LASU account. The registration opens on May 26, 2025, and closes on June 19, 2025. Interviews will be conducted in four phases, and candidates will be notified of their interview dates and venues based on their local government areas.

The interview venues are located in five divisions: Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos Island/Mainland, and Epe. Candidates are advised to arrive early, as Lagos traffic is unpredictable.

 

Passing the verification exercise does not guarantee admission into LASU, as candidates must still meet the university's admission criteria.
