LAWSAN Urges Student Leaders to Promote Voter Education, Sensitization

The National President of the Law Students’ Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN), Yasir Abubakar, has charged all student leaders across the country to lend their voices to Voter Education and Sensitization.

Abubakar, who made the call at the National Secretariat of the Law Students’ Association of Nigeria at Faculty of Law, Bayero University, Kano, said this was in order for them to take the lead in deciding the future of the country.

He was optimistic that this will not only bring about more participation and recognition of youths in the electoral process but equally ensure that the country ushers in quality leadership in the coming days.

He equally commended the efforts of his Vice President Agogo Florence for the very wonderful initiative and assured that “the doors of the association are always open to initiatives as timely and innovative as this.”

He also urged them to promote the fight against corruption in their respective domains.

He added that the fight against corruption and the clamour for visionary leadership must start from the grassroots, which is student leadership.

He prayed for the choice of the best candidate to lead the nation to enviable heights.
