The Vision of the Leventis Training Programme
For over three decades, the Leventis Foundation has been instrumental in cultivating the skills of young farmers and agri-entrepreneurs. With six agricultural training schools across Nigeria’s diverse agro-ecological zones, the Foundation offers a robust one-year course that is meticulously designed to cover extensive areas of agriculture, its value chains, and other related business endeavours.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Leventis Training Programme, candidates must:
Be in good physical health.
Possess the ability to read and write in English, with at least a secondary school leaving certificate.
Be between the ages of 18 and 40 years.
Successfully pass both written and oral tests prior to selection.
Display a keen interest in agriculture, with a farming background being a distinct advantage.
The Application Process
Aspiring participants should apply in their own handwriting, providing detailed responses to the eligibility criteria. Applications must include:
A letter from the candidate’s Local Government chairperson or secretary, or an attestation from a Justice of Peace (JP).
Two recent passport-sized photographs.
Three references.
Photocopies of academic qualifications or relevant supporting documents.
Applications should be sent to the school of the candidate’s choice, with addresses available on the Foundation’s website.
