Macarthur Foundation Donates State-of-the-Art Equipment to Borno State University

In a significant boost to academic resources, the Vice-Chancellor of Borno State University (BOSU), Professor Umar Kyari Sandabe, received a generous donation of equipment valued at over Twelve Million Naira for the Mass Communication Studio.

 These valuable resources were secured through the relentless efforts of the diligent Head of the Department, Dr. Nasir Abba Aji.

The donation from the Macarthur Foundation included brand-new H-p laptops, an office center table, and office chairs. Dr. Nasir Abba Aji personally presented these items to Vice-Chancellor Professor Umar Kyari Sandabe during a ceremony held at the university.

In his address, Dr. Nasir Abba Aji acknowledged that these state-of-the-art facilities were secured through collaborative efforts with Professor Umaru Pate, the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Kashere. He emphasized that all the items were designated for the exclusive use of the Mass Communication Department and Studio at Borno State University.

Professor Umar Kyari Sandabe expressed his deep appreciation for the dedication and support of Dr. Nasir Abba Aji and Vice-Chancellor Umaru Pate in strengthening the Mass Communication Department. He emphasized that these new resources will significantly enhance the department's capacity to provide quality education and training.

The Vice-Chancellor assured that the equipment would be put to excellent use, benefiting both the university and its students in the field of Mass Communication.
