Methodist Archbishop Urges Youth Integrity at Lux Mundi University Unveiling

In a landmark event in Umuahia, the Methodist Archbishop of Umuahia Archdiocese, Most Rev Chibuzor Opoko, delivered a resounding message to the youth of Nigeria during the official unveiling of Lux Mundi University (LMU) in Afaraukwu, Umuahia. Emphasizing the values of hard work, honesty, and commitment, Archbishop Opoko urged young people to embrace these virtues as essential for success in life.
"The only way to succeed in life is through hard work, honesty, and dedication to duty," Archbishop Opoko stated emphatically. He commended Prof Gabriel Okenwa, the founder of LMU, as a beacon of honesty and hard work, highlighting his dedication to establishing the first private university in Abia State.

The Chancellor of the Catholic Diocese of Umuahia, Rev Father Henry Maduka, echoed Archbishop Opoko's sentiments, hailing the establishment of LMU as a significant development for Umuahia. "This university is one of the good things that have happened in Umuahia in recent times," he remarked, attributing the wisdom behind its creation to divine inspiration.

In an interview with the press, Prof Gabriel Okenwa expressed gratitude for the grace of God in founding LMU, which he described as a world-class institution. He announced that students would have the opportunity to study in the United States upon completing their third-year program at the university.

LMU's vision, according to Prof Okenwa, is to nurture entrepreneurial spirit among students, aiming to equip them to become employers of labor rather than job seekers upon graduation.
