The 5th Convocation Ceremony and 7th Olorogun (Dr) Michael C. O. Ibru Annual Memorial Lecture organised by Michael and Cecilia Ibru University will hold on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, as the highlight of the university’s Convocation Week, Myschoolnews report.

This year’s week-long line-up of events promises to be a beehive of activities. The university has organised a series of events, including a Theatrical Drama, Medical Outreach, Community Service, a Business Exhibition and ending with the highly-anticipated Convocation and Memorial Lecture.

The 7th Memorial Lecture to celebrate the life and impact of the founder, Olorogun (Dr) Michael C. O. Ibru, OFR, will have renowned Professor of Engineering and Former Minister of Power, Prof. Bart Nnaji, as its Keynote Speaker.

The congregation for the award of first degrees, certificates and prizes to graduating students of the Faculties of Management and Social Sciences, Natural and Applied Sciences will take place in the morning and afternoon sessions on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.

Michael and Cecilia Ibru University is licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria to operate as a Private University and is fully accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) as an approved institution with the powers to award degrees and postgraduate studies.
