Modibbo Adama University Scholar Dr. Umar Muhammad Modibbo Co-Edits Two International Books on AI and Optimization

Dr. Umar Muhammad Modibbo, a scholar in the Department of Operations Research at Modibbo Adama University, Yola, has co-edited two international academic books on artificial intelligence and optimization.

The books, titled "Optimization and Computing using Intelligent Data-driven Approaches for Decision-Making: Artificial Intelligence Applications" and "Optimization and Computing using Intelligent Data-driven Approaches for Decision-Making: Optimization Applications," bring together cutting-edge research in AI and optimization.

The publications cover topics such as nature-inspired algorithms, deep learning, mathematical programming, and decision-making techniques, providing comprehensive insights into emerging technologies. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibrahim Umar, commended Dr. Modibbo and the editorial team for their achievement, noting that it projects the university onto the global research landscape. The university has pledged to support the dissemination of the books to students and researchers.
