Mother Takes Legal Action Against Loyola Jesuit College and Education Ministry Over Son's Admission Denial
In her application, Aondo requested an interim injunction to secure Caleb's admission and access to all student rights while the case is under review.
Justice Peter Lifu of the Federal High Court, Abuja, has declined to compel Loyola Jesuit College to admit Master Aondo Terdoo Caleb, a prospective student. Instead, Justice Lifu has directed the College and the Federal Ministry of Education to appear before the court on August 16 to present their defense regarding the case.
The suit, filed by Caleb's mother, Mrs. Ogooluwa Terkaa Aondo, seeks to enforce her son's right to education and admission into the prestigious institution. The case also names the College Principal, Father Chikere Ugwuanyi, and the President, Rev Father Peter Chidolue, as co-defendants.
In her application, Aondo requested an interim injunction to secure Caleb's admission and access to all student rights while the case is under review. However, Justice Lifu opted for a procedural approach, requiring the defendants to respond to the claims and provide reasons why the court should not grant the requested order.
