NAEC Awards Four Postgraduate Scholarships to Federal University Dutse
The National Atomic Energy Commission (NAEC) has awarded four postgraduate scholarships to students of the Federal University Dutse (FUD), Jigawa State.

The scholarships, which were announced by the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of NAEC, Professor Yusuf Aminu Ahmad, consist of two Ph.D. and two scholarships.
The awards were made during the commissioning ceremony of FUD's new Advanced Nanotechnology and Computational Physics Laboratories, which were funded by the African Academy of Sciences (AAS) and supported by the European Union (EU) Commission and the African Union (AU) Commission.
Professor Aminu congratulated FUD for securing the state-of-the-art laboratories, which are the first of their kind in Nigeria. He commended the researchers for their excellent work and expressed NAEC's commitment to partnering with FUD to advance the fields of Nuclear Physics, Nanotechnology, and Computational Physics in Nigeria.

The CEO, NAEC, highlighted the importance of Nanotechnology and Computational Physics in today's world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and their potential to enhance human life and academic research.
The scholarships are part of NAEC's efforts to promote the development of atomic energy and its applications in Nigeria.
