NAKSS-BUK President Sen. Abuzaid Salisu Hikima Bids Farewell, Highlights Achievements

Sunday, January 26, 2025, marks the end of Sen. Abuzaid Salisu Hikima's tenure as President of the National Association of Kano State Students (NAKSS-BUK).

In a farewell message, Hikima expressed gratitude to supporters and cooperators, noting that his administration started and ended peacefully, leaving a legacy of positive change in the association and Kano State.

A comprehensive report of his administration's achievements will be shared soon. The outgoing president has also announced a Q&A session, where stakeholders can engage with him and ask questions.

During his tenure, Hikima successfully secured scholarships for indigenous students of Dawakin Kudu Local Government studying at Bayero University Kano (BUK).¹ His administration also advocated for students' welfare, including urging the government to address rising education costs and provide support for students.
