Nasarawa State University Deepens Collaborative Ties With NGSA

In her move to further strengthen the existing partnerships with strategic organisations that have direct bearing on the overall interest and increased visibility of the University.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman on Tuesday 20th August 2024 visited the headquarters of the Nigerian Geological Survey Agency to further collaborative discussions on current partnerships and other areas of mutual interest.

On arrival the Vice-Chancellor and her delegation were warmly received by the Director-General of the Agency Professor Olusegun O. Ige and his management team. After fruitful deliberations, the two Chief Executives were unanimous in their resolve to recharge the existing Memorandum of Understanding that has on since 2019 with the aim of making it more robust to accommodate new indices that have emerged.

The visit ended with the exchange of souvenirs by the two Chief Executives and a tour of the Geology museum.

On the VC's entourage were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration Professor Theophilus Daniel Lagi, the Director of Linkages and International Cooperation, Dr. Ktso Ngharbu, the Head of Department, Geology & Mining, Dr. Aisha Kana, and former Head of Geology & Mining Department, Professor Nathaniel Goki.
