Nasiru Haladu Danu Foundation Partners with University of Abuja to Build more Hostels for Students

The founder of the foundation, Alhaji Nasiru Haladu Danu,  who made the pledge yesterday on campus stated that he was determined to help the students in whatever way possible. 

The  businessman  and Sardaunan Dutse also donated food items for the feeding of  500 students of the University, and made a commitment to feed at least  300 of them  through the remaining  days of the month of Ramadan.

"We have gone round the campus  and seen the good  work that Professor Na'Allah is doing. We would like to work  with the University to build more hostels for students," Haladu said,  adding that such endeavour would help cushion the effects of lack of adequate accomodation on campus.

He  said  feeding people who were fasting, including students, had been a tradition for him, explaining that he found great plesure in rendering such an  assistance.

The vice-chancellor, Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na'Allah, expressed gratitude for Haladu's gesture, saying that more of such help was needed from other   well meaning people in the country.

N'Allah said, "Students who are  fasting will benefit a lot from this gesture in this Holy month of Ramadan. We are always  eager to  have private people and other  stakeholders contribute to helping us develop our institution.
