National Executive Committee of Kaduna Polytechnic Alumni Association Holds 13th Regular Meeting

The National Executive Committee (NEXCO) of the Kaduna Polytechnic Alumni Association convened its 13th regular meeting at the Temporary National Secretariat, Tudun Wada Main Campus. 

The meeting began with a moment of silence in honor of departed members, including the late Dr. Bukar Abba, who chaired the committee responsible for developing the association's five-year strategic plan.

Key discussions during the meeting included the review of extracts from the last Annual National Conference (ANC) and Annual General Meeting (AGM), focusing on the implementation of resolutions. The committee also proposed new projects for the institution, such as hostel renovations and the production of student seating.

Updates from zonal Vice Presidents were presented, with the Vice President of the North Central zone proposing a North Central Stakeholders Meeting, pending NEXCO's approval to proceed.

The 2024 budget of the association and its implementation strategies were also discussed. Additionally, a three-member committee was formed to align the programs of the Zonal Vice Presidents with the existing strategic plan of the association.

The meeting was chaired by the National Publicity Secretary, Ambassador Danjuma Usman Suleiman, on August 25, 2024.
