NAUS CMC strengthens ties with Anti-Cultism Squad in AAU for enhanced campus security

In a bid to prioritize the welfare and security of Ambrose Alli University students, the National Association of University Students, Campus Monitoring Committee (NAUS CMC) in Edo State paid a courtesy visit to the Anti-Cultism Squad in Ekpoma.

During the visit, NAUS CMC leaders expressed gratitude for the Anti-Cultism Squad's dedicated efforts in safeguarding life and property, particularly those of Ambrose Ali University (AAU) students. The purpose of the meeting was to foster collaboration and explore opportunities to work together.

Emphasizing the importance of a unified approach to protect the interests and welfare of university students, NAUS CMC highlighted their motto, which stands for JUSTICE, PEACE, and ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE, elucidating how these principles are interconnected.

Acknowledging the crucial role played by the Anti-Cultism Squad in maintaining peace within the student community, NAUS CMC executive members engaged in a constructive dialogue with the squad, receiving assurances of full support whenever needed.

Additionally, NAUS CMC provided recommendations to strengthen the relationship between the Anti-Cultism Squad and students. They emphasized the importance of an approach that builds trust and confidence in the squad's activities.
