NECO to Conduct SSCE in Saudi Arabia

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has finalized plans to administer the Senior School Certificate Examinations (SSCE) Internal in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This decision follows the successful accreditation of Nigeria International School, Jeddah, by a delegation led by the Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Sununu, and the Registrar of NECO, Prof. Dantani Wushishi.
During the accreditation visit, the delegation conducted a thorough assessment of the school's facilities and engaged in interactive sessions with the management and staff. The Nigeria International School Jeddah was deemed suitable for consideration as an International Centre for NECO SSCE Internal and was granted full accreditation based on the assessment of learning facilities, curriculum, security, and overall suitability.
Dr. Yusuf Sununu encouraged the staff and students of the school to uphold Nigeria's image as they continue their academic pursuits in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States. He highlighted the importance of school accreditation in ensuring conducive environments for teaching and learning, emphasizing the significance of the NECO examination process.
NECO Registrar, Prof. Dantani Wushishi, provided insights into the evolution of NECO and underscored the importance of accreditation in maintaining high standards in education. The delegation was warmly received by the Consular-General, Ambassador Bello Kazaure, and other dignitaries upon their arrival at the school.

In addition to Saudi Arabia, NECO operates International Examination Centres in Togo, Benin Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Niger, and the Republic of Gabon, further extending its reach in facilitating education beyond Nigeria's borders.
