NELFUND Issues Public Notice on Student Data Verification and Upload

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund has announced that the Student Loan Application System has been fully digitized to enhance the loan processing experience for institutions and applicants.

All accredited institutions are now required to request access to the system to verify and upload student data related to loan applications.

Institutions that have not yet onboarded onto the system are requested to send an access request without delay. Once granted access, institutions will be able to view a real-time dashboard of their students' loan applications, verify submitted data, and track the status of each application.

The verification and data upload by institutions are mandatory steps before final approval and disbursement can be completed. Student applicants are informed that if their loan portal status shows "Verified," it means their application has passed initial checks, but final approval and disbursement are subject to confirmation and upload of data by their institution.

NELFUND urges all institutions to take immediate action to comply with the requirements and ensure a smooth application process for their students.
