Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Advocates for Safe Schools Initiative Following Kuriga School Children's Rescue

The Director-General of the World Trade Organization, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has urged for the implementation of the Safe Schools Initiative in Nigeria in response to the recent rescue of school children from the Kuriga area of Kaduna State.
Governor Uba Sani confirmed the release of the 287 abducted Kuriga school children by bandits in Kaduna State. Okonjo-Iweala expressed gratitude to the security forces and government officials involved in the successful rescue operation.
