Nigerian Army Unveils Renovated Schools in Kano

Nigerian Army Unveils Renovated Schools in Kano

The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, represented by Major General Valentine Okoro, the General Officer Commanding 1 Division NA, and Force Commander Operation Whirl Punch, has unveiled renovated schools in the Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State. The remodelled Kundila Schools include Government Upper Basic Secondary School, Government Girls Senior Secondary School, and Kundila Nursery and Primary School.

Over 255 projects have been completed by the Nigerian Army across the country's six geopolitical zones, with ongoing projects in various locations. The COAS highlighted the use of standardized materials and modern equipment in the renovation, including 24 classrooms, 14 solar-powered lights, desks and seats, laboratory equipment, reconstructed staff rooms, head teachers and principal offices, student toilets, and the installation of boreholes.

Abubakar Zakari, Chairman of Tarauni Local Government Area, expressed gratitude on behalf of the community, acknowledging the Nigerian Army for impactful projects that will significantly contribute to the educational needs of the region.
