Nigerian Basketball Federation Appoints BUK Coach Sunusi Shuaibu to Lead U18 National Team

The Nigerian Basketball Federation (NBBF) has appointed Coach Sunusi Shuaibu, also known as Badway, to lead the national under 18 basketball team for the upcoming African championship qualifiers in Abidjan, Cote'd Ivoire.

Coach Badway, who is the basketball coach at Bayero University, Kano, was selected for his vast experience and competence. He will be responsible for guiding the team to success in the continental tournament.

In addition to his appointment as head coach, Coach Badway has also been appointed to the NBBF League Management Committee, tasked with organizing and developing the men's Division 2 League in Nigeria.

The NBBF Secretary General, Mr. Peter Njoku, praised Coach Badway and the other committee members for accepting their roles, stating, "Your appointment is a result of the immense confidence the Board of the NBBF has in your person... we believe you will work diligently to achieve the desired objectives."
