In a dazzling display of strategic prowess, Nigerian chess master Tunde Onakoya showcased his exceptional skills by engaging in a simultaneous chess match against 10 opponents at the Digital Life Design (DLD) conference in Germany. Remarkably, Tunde emerged victorious in all ten games, defeating his opponents in a battle of wits that spanned nearly two hours.

Notably, one of Tunde's formidable opponents held a PhD in Mathematical logic, serving as the Chairman of the United Nations Security Council and a former Bulgarian foreign minister. Describing the challenging match, Tunde acknowledged it as a very hard game against an accomplished adversary.

Beyond his prowess on the chessboard, Tunde Onakoya is the founder of Chess in Slums Africa, a non-profit organization dedicated to training children from slums in mathematics and chess. Raised in the slums of Ikorodu, Lagos, Tunde learned to play chess at a local barber's shop, marking the beginning of his remarkable journey.
