In a bid to promote academic excellence and support students in Toro Federal Constituency, Isma’il Dabo Haruna, the House of Representatives member representing the constituency, has undertaken a noteworthy initiative. Not less than 500 indigent students from Toro Federal Constituency in Bauchi State are set to benefit from this educational program.

Under the Haske 2024 Scholarship Program, Isma'il Dabo Haruna has committed to covering the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) registration fees for the selected students across the local government. The announcement, made by Haruna on his Facebook page on February 16, 2024, included details on the application procedures.

Haruna stated that students who achieve a score of 200 and above in the exams will be eligible for automatic scholarships. The eligibility requirements include an indigene certificate and a minimum of seven credits, including English and Mathematics in WAEC and NECO, or mock examinations.

Various training centers, including Tilden Fulani, Magama, Toro, Rimin Zyam, Nabardo, Gumau, Rishi, and Tulu, will be facilitating the program.
