Nigerian Engineer Makes History with First-Class Robotics Degree from Russian University
Moses Maduka, a 29-year-old robotic engineer from Ahuwa Oboro, has become the first Nigerian to earn a degree in Mechatronics and Robotics from a Russian university. Maduka’s accomplishment is particularly notable as he is also the first Igbo indigene to pursue and complete a degree in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering.
Moses Maduka, a 29-year-old robotic engineer from Ahuwa Oboro, has become the first Nigerian to earn a degree in Mechatronics and Robotics from a Russian university.
Maduka, who hails from Ikwuano Local Government in Abia State, graduated with first-class honors from Russia Research State University, Ural, boasting an impressive GPA of 4.5 out of 5.0.

His dedication and hard work paid off as he successfully completed the rigorous four-year course in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering, along with an additional year of intensive Russian language studies.Maduka’s accomplishment is particularly notable as he is also the first Igbo indigene to pursue and complete a degree in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering.
