This feat, achieved amidst fierce competition with over 51,840 applicants worldwide, accentuates her academic prowess and determination.

Graduating with a second-class lower Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Covenant University, Nigeria, Oluwafunmilayo encountered numerous obstacles due to her academic grade not meeting the minimum requirements of many scholarship organizations.
