Nnamdi Azikiwe University Announces 2024 Christmas Break

The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, has announced the commencement of the 2024 Christmas break.

According to the institution’s approved academic calendar, the holiday will begin on Sunday, December 22, 2024, and end on Sunday, January 5, 2025.

In a memo dated December 11, 2024, signed by the Acting Head of Information and Public Relations, Njelita Louis O, staff are expected to resume duties on Monday, January 6, 2025.

The university management emphasized that no staff or student is expected on campus during the break without proper authorization. Anyone with a valid reason to be on the premises must secure a pass from the Chief Safety Officer to avoid any form of embarrassment from security personnel.

The management extended warm wishes for a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to all members of the university community.
