NOUN Benin Centre Students Celebrate Students' Week
The students of Benin Study Centre, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Benin City, Edo State, have observed and celebrated their 2023 edition of Students' Week on the 25th through 29th September, 2023, at the study centre, Myschoolnews report.

Dr. Akeem Disu, centre director, Benin, in his address to flag off the ceremony, said that NOUN, as an institution was not only concerned about the academic aspect of learning but also in the social development of its students. 

Disu, therefore, enjoined the students to participate actively in the Students' Week activities.

The initiative of the Students' Week was introduced by the management of the centre to provide a platform for students to explore, discover and develop communal bond in social gatherings.

Various activities such as cultural day, costume day, old school day, jersey day and others were lined up for the week.

The centre witnessed a large turn out of students who came dressed in the costume suited for each day. 

In an interview with NOUN News, Gbenga Adjarho Caleb, a student of the centre, said that they have been anticipating the Students' Week celebration and urged all students to partake actively in the lineup of events to ensure a memorable and successful ceremony.
