NOUN Lagos Centre Hosts NUC Accreditation Teams for Marketing and Business Administration Programs

The National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation teams visited the Lagos Study Centre of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) on Monday, November 25, 2024, to conduct the routine accreditation exercise for the B.Sc. Marketing and B.Sc. Business Administration programs in the Faculty of Management Sciences.

The teams were welcomed by the Centre Director, Prof. Alero Akujobi, who guided them on a tour of the centre’s facilities. At the Physical Library, Mr. Oluwaseun Babarotimi, the librarian, demonstrated the accessibility and functionality of the e-materials available to students. The team also reviewed hardcopy materials and inquired about resource availability.

The study centre provided all necessary documents, including student records, staff files, and study materials, for verification. 

The accreditation team for the B.Sc. Marketing program was led by Prof. Yakibi A. Afolabi, with other members including Prof. R.A. Ganiyu, Eucharia C. Ike, Dr. Kayode Kadiri, and Mr. Abayomi Ilori. For the B.Sc. Business Administration program, the team was chaired by Prof. Nasir Moshood Lann, with members including Prof. Chinwuba Okafor, Prof. Emmanuel Babatunde Omobowale, Dr. Sufian Jelili, Mr. Udeng Felix, and Mrs. Rachel Owhatuemuhor.
