The peer review commenced on Thursday and concluded with an exit meeting on Friday, 6 February 2026, during which the teams presented their findings to the university management led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM.
Team leaders Professors Titifola Adebayo, Ahmad Bello, and Habila J. Gukas delivered detailed feedback in the presence of faculty Deans, Heads of Departments, academic staff, members of the mock accreditation team, and other senior officials at the Vice-Chancellor’s Conference Room, 6th Floor, Babatunde Raji Fashola Senate Building, Main Campus, Ojo.
The reports highlighted the strengths of the programmes and commended the university for its quality infrastructure, academic standards, and preparedness for accreditation. The Vice-Chancellor expressed satisfaction with the findings, pledging to address minor recommendations and continue leveraging feedback to enhance LASU’s academic standing.
The accreditation process for other programmes is expected to continue in the coming weeks.
