NYSC Corps Member Found Dead in Ogun Apartment
The Ogun State Police confirmed the incident, stating that there was no sign of violence on the deceased's body. The cause of death is yet to be determined, and the corpse has been deposited at the state hospital for autopsy.

In a tragic incident last Wednesday, Medaiyese Emmanuel, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, was discovered dead in his apartment on Sogbesan Street, Oluwo area of Abeokuta, Ogun State. The incident unfolded after Emmanuel's mother, unable to reach him on his mobile phone, sought help from a friend, Olumide.
Olumide, responding to the distress call, found Emmanuel's locked apartment. After failed attempts to open the door, they discovered Emmanuel's lifeless body inside.The Ogun State Police confirmed the incident, stating that there was no sign of violence on the deceased's body. The cause of death is yet to be determined, and the corpse has been deposited at the state hospital for autopsy.
This tragic event follows a similar incident in November 2023, where a female University of Port Harcourt student, Adaeze, was found dead in her Aluu apartment, Rivers State.
