NYSC Members Urged to Be Diligent and Patient in Pursuit of Success

In a recent address at the Nasarawa State Orientation Camp in Magaji Dan Yamusa, Keffi, the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Yushau Dogara Ahmed, urged the 2023 Batch ‘C’ Stream Two NYSC members to be diligent and patient in their pursuit of success.

Ahmed cautioned the corps members against the get-rich-quick syndrome and other social vices that could negatively impact their future. He encouraged them to serve their fatherland as good ambassadors of their families, academic institutions, and the NYSC.

“Maintain good character throughout your service year. If travel becomes necessary, ensure you obtain permission from the NYSC. Respect others’ opinions, make good friends in camp, and respect the cultural beliefs of your host communities when you pass out from the camp,” Ahmed advised.

The NYSC Nasarawa State Coordinator, Alhaji Abdullahi Jikamshi, reported to the Director General that 375 camp officials are working harmoniously to achieve the objectives of the Orientation Course. He further added that all the registered 2,139 corps members are actively participating in all camp activities.
