The NYSC Plateau State Coordinator, Mr. Jonathan I. Yavala, has highlighted the role of sporting activities in promoting national unity and integration among Corps Members. He made this statement during the official flag-off of sports events for the 2024 Batch "B" Stream II Orientation Course at the Peace and Tourism Arena, NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp, WAYE Foundation, Doi-Du, Jos South, LGA of Plateau.
Mr. Yavala stressed that the sporting events are designed to foster unity and not to be treated as "do or die" affairs, urging Corps Members to avoid injuries and embrace the spirit of sportsmanship. He encouraged them to recognize that, regardless of the outcomes, all participants are winners.
