The management of Oduduwa Polytechnic in Lagos has vehemently denied recent media reports accusing one of its lecturers of extorting a female student and withholding her results.

Contrary to the allegations, the institution clarified that it has no record of either the student or the lecturer mentioned in the report. The institution emphasized that the incident reported in the newspaper did not involve Oduduwa Polytechnic, as stated in the publication.

In a statement addressing the issue, the management clarified that Oduduwa Polytechnic is located in Lagos, not in Ile-Ife, Osun State, as erroneously reported. Additionally, the institution pointed out discrepancies in the report, noting that the picture used to illustrate the story was of Oduduwa Polytechnic, Lagos, while the report claimed the affected student was from Oduduwa Polytechnic, Ile-Ife.
