Ogun State has announced that 20,000 students in tertiary institutions and 10,000 indigent pupils in primary and secondary schools have received financial support through the Educash transfer program. This initiative aims to alleviate the economic challenges faced by students and families in the state.

Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, confirmed the disbursement of funds after overseeing the process in Ogun West Senatorial District. He emphasized that the scheme will continue to benefit more individuals, with plans to reach a total of approximately 50,000 beneficiaries.
