Okun Youth Frontiers Honors Prof. Eniola of KSU Kabba with Excellence Award

The Vice Chancellor of Kogi State University, Kabba, Professor K.I.T. Eniola, has been honored with an award of excellence by Okun Youth Frontiers, a socio-cultural coalition of youth organizations. The group commended the Vice Chancellor for his outstanding leadership and remarkable contributions to the growth and development of the university.

During the award presentation, the leader of Okun Youth Frontiers, Barr. Emmanuel Ayedogbon, praised Professor Eniola for his tireless efforts in advancing the institution’s vision and mission. Ayedogbon noted that the university's vibrant public relations unit has successfully projected the accomplishments of the Vice Chancellor and his administration to the outside world, showcasing the institution’s aim to stand among the best.

In his acceptance speech, Professor Eniola expressed gratitude to the group for the recognition, attributing much of the university's success to the support of the Kogi State government. He highlighted the contributions of both the former governor, who founded the university, and the current governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, whose administration continues to support the institution’s development.

Professor Eniola also acknowledged the collaborative efforts of the university’s management and staff, emphasizing that their collective commitment has been essential to achieving the institution’s goals. He reaffirmed his commitment to nurturing globally competitive, nationally recognized, and locally relevant students.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. J.U. Amodu, the university's Registrar, described the award as well deserved, given the progress recorded under Professor Eniola’s leadership. He also appreciated the youth group for recognizing the efforts of the institution.

Similarly, the Head of the Department of Political Science, Dr. Nasiru Muhammed Ibrahim, congratulated the Vice Chancellor and praised the Okun Youth Frontiers for focusing on academic institutions in their region, reinforcing the significance of their advocacy for educational excellence.
