Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) has officially launched its admission process for the 2024/2025 academic session after successfully completing the Post-UTME screening exercise. The university's management has issued a detailed guideline for prospective students.

In a notice signed by the Registrar, Dr. Bayo Okorometa, the university clarified that only applicants who participated in the Post-UTME screening will be considered for admission. Candidates are required to log onto the Post-UTME portal to print their results, with a minimum aggregate score of 40% necessary to qualify for full-time admission.

The admission process will be managed through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). Candidates are encouraged to frequently check the platform to accept their admissions once offered. Furthermore, it is imperative that candidates upload their O’level results onto JAMB CAPS, as failure to do so will result in ineligibility for admission.

The notice also specified that candidates who do not meet the cut-off marks for their desired programs may be considered for alternative courses. Those offered a different program must accept the transfer request on JAMB CAPS before initiating a change of course at a JAMB Computer-Based Test (CBT) center.

OOU advises prospective students to rely solely on verified information from official sources and to disregard unverified reports from unofficial channels, emphasizing that all essential updates will be communicated through official announcements.
