Oloja Announced to Deliver AAUA 12th Convocation Lecture
The VC of AAUA disclosed that the Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of The Guardian, Martins Oloja will deliver the 12th convocation lecture
The Vice Chancellor (VC) of the institution, Prof. Olugbenga Ige, disclosed yesterday, during a briefing to herald the weeklong activities for the ceremony that the Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of The Guardian, Martins Oloja, will, on Thursday, December 7, 2023, deliver the 12th convocation lecture of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), Ondo State.
According to Ige, Oloja will speak on “Internationalisation of University Education for Global Relevance: Experiences, Barriers, and Prospects.”

Ige also revealed that 5,249 students from the 2020/2021 session will be graduating during the convocation, he also mentioned that the university was unwavering in its commitment to excellence, ensuring high-quality academic programmes and fostering research initiatives, among others.
He added that AAUA was dedicated to upholding integrity and enhancing the quality of its academic programmes through consistent members of staff training, programme innovation, and implementation of an extensive research agenda.

Ige also maintained that all of the university’s programmes had received accreditation from the National University Commission (NUC).
