In a significant achievement for the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), the History and International Studies Department has produced three first-class graduates, breaking an over five-year streak without such honors.

The graduates are Nwaeze Solomon Chukwuemeka, Nwakanma Glory Uchechi, and Ngozi Gift, who earned GPAs of 4.50, 4.86, and 4.59, respectively. It would be recalled that the UNN senate recently released the first batch of the list of graduating students' for the 2022/2023 Academic year.

Solomon Chukwuemeka, who also serves as the Faculty of Arts President and Chairman of the Council of Faculty Presidents, exemplified that academic excellence is achievable despite extensive responsibilities.
